Priyanshu Moliya, a 14 year old teenager from Mohinder Lala Amarnath Academy scored a brilliant knock of unbeaten 556 runs. Facing 319 balls, he hit 98 fours and 1 six to reach this remarkable achievementin a two-day match in Shri DK Gaekwad Under-14 cricket tournament.

Priyanshu played for the Mohinder Lala Amarnath Cricket Academy (MLACA) against the Yogi Cricket Academy at Vadodara Cricket Academy (VCA) ground.

The Indian boy was mentored by none other than 1983 World winning team member Mohinder Amarnath.

Due to his excellent innings of 556* runs in 319 balls, the team scored a mammoth total of 826 runs with the loss of four wickets. After then, the opponent team bowled out for just 84 runs in the second innings. Apart from scoring the humongous record batting, Priyanshu also took a total of six wickets in the match.

Finally, MLACA won by an innings and 689 runs.

On an interview, the boy told that his role models were two Indian cricket players. Among them one was none other than the god of cricket Sachin Tendulkar and the other one was Indian Team Captain Virat Kohli.

Priyanshu praised his coach Mohinder Amarnath after the match. He said Mohinder sir always look me playing in the nets. After then he guides me to play and control different shots while practicing. After regular practicing, I score more runs in covers and got better in  back-foot punches. He said his coach was very happy with his batting in the innings.

This is not Priyanshu`s first time smashing opposition all over the park. Last year, he played 254 run innings for his in the same tournament.
