Story So Far:

The opening pair Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan can be destructive if they stand over 50 and above runs in the powerplays. Rohit Sharma`s recent IPL performance with batting average 28.93 is doubting over his recent form. While his other partner Dhawan was impressive with average 34.73 in IPL. Rohit should find his form otherwise, the foul start for Indian team batting innings will take effect on the batting innings.

The inform world`s best batsman Virat Kohli at no.3 makes the Indian Top order looks strong and positive. If any of the three top-order batsman gets the count, India always goes on to win the game.

The number four riddles the middle order with Kedhar Jadhav and KL Rahul. But KL Rahul may replace Jadhav due to Jadhav`s out-of-form and successive injuries recently.

The Indian bowling with pacers Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Mohammad Shami and Jasprit Bumrah, is solid. Hardik Pandya quite take crucial wickets. Another option Vijay Shankar can bowl few overs if wickets are dry and he even play also with bat.

The spinners trio Ravindra Jadeja, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav shows consistency in the away matches. Their numbers show they can change the game favors for the side.

The bench, which may include KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja and Dinesh Karthik, provides options that can slot in when needed to support the team over the long tournament.

Indian Team won 56 ODI since 2015 World Cup. Despite they lose last three games against Australia and never play a tournament since the IPL was only the flaw. But they are impeccable.

Players to watch out for:

Jasprit Bumrah

With his accuracy and analysing the match condition skills, the World`s now best bowler can turn the match for the day. Specializing in death overs, no batsman can score more runs in the crucial stage at the bottom. No wonder he is a match winner for the Indian bowling.

MS Dhoni

Probably playing the last world cup, the age old wicket keeper batsman, still showing his power hitting ability. He can take the innings quietly well even if there is a top-order collapse. Being a world cup winning skipper, his advices to Virat Kohli and decisions on bowling change and even DRS wise, he is a phenomenal add to the team.

X – Factor

Hardik Pandya : The powerhitter can take the game from the opposition if he bats for six overs or more. His six hitting abilities in the IPL shows he can be a game changer for the side.

With the strong  top-order batting lineup and spinners and pacers, the team can get several fishes in the tournament. But with the middle order conundrum still a challenge to their journey. This team is capable of going all the way to the semi-finals but with some effort they even win the world cup.
